LabTech is a software program that allows us to find, fix, prevent, and monitor your computer from anywhere at any time. The program takes away the hassle of scheduling services and lets our techs work on your computer issues as soon as they arise.
This is due to a system agent that is initially installed into the IT framework which monitors the overall health of the computer. It includes any networked devices connected to the original IT framework such as routers, switches, and printers.
In order to monitor our customer’s computer technology, we decided to use this program so that we can more efficiently manage their devices. Our first step was to figure out the best way to use the program. We implemented a custom base plan for our company in order to test it and use it with our customer’s computer technology.
After installing the agent within our system, alerts were sent to us when our system agent detected performance problems, emails stopped, or our devices went offline all together. Our techs were then able to fix the problem right away. We also had an automatic Windows update policy applied to our individual PCs. This allowed LabTech to automatically update our computers when it was needed.
Once we had the system implemented in our company, we were able to apply this to our customers. LabTech has helped us with detecting Malware infections prior to the virus attack and remotely set up any software needed instead of physically touching the computer.
